The Jordan Super.Fly 2 "All-Star" was leaked for the first time to the public this past Sunday. The shoes are expected to be worn by Blake Griffin as he once again starts for the third consecutive year in the NBA's annual showcase. Griffin also wore the Jordan Super.Fly 2 during last year's All-Star Game but they appeared to be a wear test pair that was not indicative of the final model that eventually made to retail.
For this year's Super.Fly 2 model for the All-Star Game, it will feature a mix of various blue hues on the upper, midsole and Jordan Flight Plate all sitting on a icy blue translucent outsole. The shoe will also be similar to the Jordan CP3.VII that Chris Paul is expected to wear in that both have gold Jumpman logos in their respective kicks while also having a red inner lining and pull tab.
With a name like the Super.Fly 2, Griffin has been under constant pressure by the media and fans for not stepping up his game and adding to his arsenal of moves. So far he has lived up expectations and has continued to do so on a nightly basis since he arrived onto the NBA season.
The Jordan Super.Fly 2 does not have a release date - although many feel they will drop during All-Star Weekend - or pricing and an exact location of where to go in case of an emegency. For a closer look at Griffin's teammate Chris Paul's signature shoe for the All-Star Game, click here.
