Sony Pictures released the first trailer for Burlesque today, starring Christina Aguilera, Kristen Bell, and Julianne Hough as dancers at The Burlesque Lounge, a club owned and operated by retired dancer Tess (played by Cher).
Aguilera stars as Ali, a small-town girl with a big voice who helps turn the ailing club around in the new film from director Steve Antin. Big voice? That I can believe. If larger-than-life Christina Aguilera can pull off "small-town girl" there ought to be an Oscar in it for her.
