First look at Wonder Woman in 'Batman v Superman' unveiled

Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman

At last, the DC trinity is finally complete.

Today, at San Diego Comic-Con Warner Bros. revealed the first look at Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Questions as to whether or not Gadot is physically right for the role can now be put to rest. “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice’s” Wonder Woman seems to be in-line with more realistic approach Director Zack Snyder is going for.

Wonder Woman’s costume ditches the red white and blue and gives her a more "Xena: Warrior Princess" feel.

The reveal does not come as a huge surprise as Warner Bros. released a new photo of Ben Affleck as Batman on Thursday.

At the panel, Warner Bros. also screened a sizzle reel to quench the thirst of the thousands of fans in attendance.

Warner Bros. is still far behind Marvel in terms of bringing their comic book characters to life, however, things may be turning around for them with not only “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” on the horizon, but also “Justice League” in 2017.

Official plot details on the film have been undertsandbly kept under wraps.

Now, the film does not come out for another two years and the studio is probably saving the best reveals for next year’s Comic Con but from the looks of things-it’ll be well worth the wait.

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” arrives in theaters May 6, 2016.
