Lindsay Lohan is back. On Wednesday, March 5 Comingsoon.net posted the first look at "Lindsay," the documentary series featuring actress Lindsay Lohan as she tries to get her acting career and her life back on track. The eight part series will air on Oprah Winfrey' s network OWN and was directed by documentary filmmaker Amy Rice.
The two minute clip features Lindsay back in New York City to be near her family, and she moves into a hotel during her search for an apartment. Lohan is accompanied by her personal assistant and her sober coach throughout her daily activities from meeting with family to work commitments.
Lohan get emotional during a dinner with her father, who she blames for being a bad influence for most of her life. She is also overwhelmed about filming and seems to regret doing the show. After being locked out of her apartment which delays filming, Oprah decides to visit Lohan and find out why she is struggling so much.
The two sit down for a chat and Oprah outright asks Lohan if the series and getting her career back are things she really wants. Lohan wants everything to work out, but the commitment doesn't seem to be there. Her sober coach doesn't really answer when asked if Lohan is staying sober and she is constantly followed by paparazzi to the point that she feels like a prisoner.
The series was announced last year and is expected to air on OWN on Sunday, March 9 at 10 p.m. The show was filmed last year after Lohan's very public court battles and her most recent rehab recovery. "Lindsay" was produced by Pilgrim Studios and executive producers Johnny Gould, Craig Piligian, and Nicholas Caprio.
