DC Comics has released a first look at Green Arrow #17, the first issue by the new creative team of Jeff Lemire (Animal Man) and Andrea Sorrentino (I, Vampire).
Lemire had this to say about his start on the title, “The challenge for me, when taking over the title at issue #17, was really to try to approach it as if it's a first issue, so that it's completely accessible to new readers.” He continued, “Everything you need to know about the character and his world is established in a simple way in that first issue. So you can jump on really easily.”
In the first arc by the new team, Green Arrow will be facing a new villain, Komodo, a man with archery skills greater than Oliver Queen's and determined to destroy the hero.
