Brad Pitt fans are waiting for his next film to hit the big screen, and now they have a look at his upcoming release of Moneyball, which will hit Scottsdale theaters in September. Ace Showbiz released this first look of the film in the form of a clip on Thursday. The clip shows various scenes of the baseball movie, and it gives fans an idea of what to expect of the plot. Moneyball, which also stars Robin Wright and Jonah Hill, tells the true story of Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane. Brad Pitt plays Beane in the film, and it shows how the man managed to create a team using computer-generated analysis. He was the first to do this. The film has been in the works, but it was met with delays after Columbia Pictures first dropped the film in 2009 when it wasn't happy with the script. Bennett Miller is the director of the film.
As for Brad Pitt, he was seen in Malta this week, with partner Angelina Jolie, scouting locations for his next film, World War Z. That is set for release to Scottsdale theaters in 2014.This wouldn't be the first time Brad Pitt has worked in Malta. He last worked in the area back in 2003 when he filmed Troy.
