The Air Jordan XX8 SE will be making its debut in an NBA All-Star Game this February and the first images of the upcoming kicks were revealed on Sunday. Launched in late 2013 as the lower-priced alternative of the original Air Jordan XX8, the XX8 SE has been well-received in the both sneaker community and among NBA players across the league.
For the 2014 NBA All-Star in New Orleans, the XX8 SE will feature a green reptile print on the upper with a vibrant green tongue, black Jordan Flight Plate and icy blue translucent outsole. It will also have red inner lining, laces and pull tab along with a gold Jumpman on the tongue and on the carbon fiber heel counter. What is not clear at the moment is what the theme of the shoe will be as it relates to the All-Star Game and who will be wearing the shoe. While it has been quite popular among the Jordan Brand athletes, Russell Westbrook is currently injured and All-Stars who happen to be part of Jordan Brand like Blake Griffin and Chris Paul each have respective shoe that they will be wearing to the game.
The Air Jordan XX8 SE "All-Star" will be available during the All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, but no exact date, pricing and locations that will carry the shoe have been revealed at the moment. For a closer look at the Air Jordan XX8 "2014 All-Star," click here.
