New images of two Air Jordan 14 retro colorways were leaked on Monday, sneaker blog luvmykicks is reporting. The Air Jordan 14 will drop in 2014 in a black and yellow colorway that have many calling them "Thunder" in reference to an Air Jordan 4 of a similar color scheme while the no-seam Air Jordan 14 "Black Toe" is also set to drop in its original form.
For sneakerheads and basketball historians, they will remember the Air Jordan 14 as the shoe that Michael Jordan wore during his last run with the Chicago Bulls and were on his feet when he made his famous "Last Shot" against the Utah Jazz back in 1998. It is often used as the cutting off point by Air Jordan fans who only want to buy Jordan kicks when Michael was in his early and prime years. The Air Jordan 14 has seen several retro drops over the past few years, most recently with 2011's "Last Shot" and 2012's "Candy Cane" colorways.
The "Thunder" Air Jordan 14 is rumored to be dropping on July 4th while the "Black Toe" is set to return on September 20. Neither release date has been officially confirmed by Jordan Brand so stay tuned here as more information drops.
