The Academy of Country Music's "Male Vocalist of the Year," Jason Aldean, reportedly left the east coast blazing from a sold-out opening run of his headlining 2014 "Burn It Down Tour" over the weekend in Roanoke, Va.; State College, Pa.; and Atlantic City, N.J.

Per the Roanoke Times, Aldean's Virginia performance was a “party that included pyrotechnics and a massive light show,” in addition to featuring special guests Florida Georgia Line and Tyler Farr. The Georgia-born songster's tour will forge onward, with 45 additional stops through the end of the year.

Aldean's current tour is buoyed by the chart-topping success of his fifth album, the 15-song "Night Train," which aptly embodies the tone of his, sky's-the-limit, fast track music career.

"The train is moving," Aldean has said of his latest CD, "and it's moving at a rapid pace."

His "Night Train" album comes on the heels of his last project, "My Kinda Party," which was the top-selling country album of 2011 and the fifth-best seller across all genres for the year. That disc pleased fans with the edgy "Dirt Road Anthem" single, penned by Colt Ford. The song went triple-platinum and was the best-selling ringtone across all genres for weeks. Moreover, "My Kinda Party," the album, also contained his duet with Kelly Clarkson, "Don't You Wanna Stay," which went double-platinum and found major cross-over success on multiple radio formats.

As for the runaway success he's in the middle of, "I don't know what the turning point was," he has said via his PR camp's website. "I'd like to think that it was the last six years that we've been building our following on the road by working hard and touring relentlessly. It's partly because of that, but I also know it's partly because of the radio success we've had."

Aldean--who won his first two Country Music Association awards, thanks to "My Kinda Party"--plans to keep his in-progress, attendance-setting tour rolling on. Specifically, the "Burn It Down Tour" will make a two-night run to Birmingham, Ala., this weekend, then next weekend, it'll have a three-night residency in Atlanta, Ga.

For those who want to catch Aldean on his 2014 "Burn It Down Tour" run, tickets are selling fast, including sold-out stadium shows in Cleveland and Cincinnati, Ohio, and Pittsburgh, Pa., as well two sold-out nights at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado.
