Fashion designers might have been listening to President Obama on Tuesday night during the State of the Union address, but everyone was looking at First Lady Michelle Obama. The woman has become the person to watch for Washington fashion and sitting in the traditional First Lady spot, she didn't disappoint as she wore her favorite designer Jason Wu.
The gown was a burgundy colored top featuring a black bodice. The gown was very elegant but refrained from being flashy, which is a balance that the First Lady always reflects with ease. The gown was accessorized with an Alexis Bittar floral pin.
This is the second time in two months the First Lady has worn a Jason Wu gown to a highly watched event. The fashion designer has found great success in his work and the publicity definitely hasn't hurt as his fashion is in high demand.
