For Cook County, Ill. and Chicago-land, the first, golf show will tee off in February. This will be the Tinley Park Golf Show at the Tinley Park Convention Center. (Tinley Park is a nearby, Chicago suburb that is 36.6-29.9 miles from downtown Chicago.) This show will be open February 8-February 10.
As represented in this article’s photo, at this show, wooden, golf tees will almost certainly be available for purchase. Plastic, cone shaped tees do exist, and also may be available for purchase. (Somewhere at some time, I have seen plastic tees with three legs; this show may sell these.)
Attendants will be able to participate in putting and long drive contests, swing state-of-the-art golf clubs, learn golf tips, and listen to speakers and celebrities. Hybrid golf clubs, and drivers on which golfers can adjust lofts, are likely to be on display. New, golf cart styles are likely to be on display.
On Feb. 8, the Tinley Park Golf Show will be open noon-7 p.m. On Feb. 9, this show will be open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. On Feb. 10, the open hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
On Friday, Feb. 8, admission will be $5. Admission will be $10 on Saturday, Feb. 9 and Sunday, Feb. 10. However, children who are 12 years old and younger will be able to enter without paying any fee. Parking will also be free.
