In the trailer, we Hazel (played by Shailene Woodley) and Gus (played by Ansel Elgort) meet and watch as Gus convinces Hazel that it's ok to open to love and to pain. For those of you who have read the book, watching some scenes will make you smile because you remember reading them and others will make you sad as you know what some of the other scenes mean. Overall, it's a trailer that certainly prepares you for the sob-fest you are sure to have when watching this movie.
In December, the first poster was released to some mixed feelings from the fans. In the beginning of January, rumors started circulating when Director, Josh Boone’s, father tweeted that the trailer would be released on Valentine’s Day.
The movie stars Woodley, Elgort, and Willem Dafoe and is set to come out June 6th.
