First Friday Art Walk in Fredericksburg

This Friday, March 4th, will be the First Friday Art Walk in Fredericksburg. According to a recent press release:

“Featured Artist of the Month Cathy Pegues will be showcasing her collection: Compare and Contrast. One Artist, Two Styles.

The press release goes on to state: “Cathy’s personal interest in equestrian competitions led to her passion in capturing the intense beauty of the American Quarter horse. As a little girl she would sketch page after page of horses in between riding her horse at White Rock Stables in Dallas, TX.”

The event will take place at 5pm at Good art Co. located at 218 Main Street.

In addition, there will be the Equestrian Inspired Jewelry featured by Jenny Housely.

“Jenny studied geology and minerals at the University of Georgia which has given her a depth of knowledge for the fine natural stones she incorporates in each of her one of a kind jewelry pieces. Through extensive travels out west, Jenny's love for horses, Native American arts,and natural beauty have continueto inspire her and her creations,” according to the press release.
