Another year winds down and the whole world is celebrating New Year 2013 with inspiring fireworks that make our spirits soar in anticipation of things to come…
Top pick has to go to Sydney, Australia, with the pyrotechnic theme for the fireworks display at Sydney Harbour definitely being shades of pink, with a perfect pair of illuminated pink lips decorating the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The fireworks around the Sydney Harbour Bridge are almost always easily distinguishable by a coronal shape, somewhat like an illuminated crown of ostrich feathers.
American actors including Leonardo DiCaprio and his costar Jonah Hill, Kellan Lutz and girlfriend Sharni Vinson as well as Chace Crawford, who have been enjoying the Australian summer in Sydney since the end of this month (and what they’re wearing!), are no doubt enjoying the fireworks for New Years!
More lovely pink fireworks were used in London, with photos showing a very festive rose-illuminated Big Ben at the Houses of Parliament on the River Thames in the heart of the British capital.
Fireworks exploding behind the Quadriga (a chariot drawn by four horses) statue on top of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany included lovely peachy pink bursts, which complemented the green patina on the copper statue.
