“WWE 2K15” will have a heck of a lot of content and improvements.
The first information regarding the graphical specifications, story mode and and career mode were revealed in an exclusive article on IGN.com today.
The game’s story mode, will be called “2K Showcase” and will be broken into two episodes and according to IGN, will focus on two different rivalries in WWE history. However, 2K Sports has yet to reveal who will be featured in these new modes. Could it be Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels? Or even Daniel Bryan and Triple H? At this point, it's completely up in the air, but it could be anyone from the company's historic past.
“WWE 2K15” will also have a separate story mode for create-a-wrestlers, “My Career,” which IGN says was lifted from the “NBA 2K” series. This mode will only be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and not the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
In terms of graphical ability, the IGN article states that over 50 days of motion capture sessions took place for the game and that “WWE 2K15” will have five times more animation data than last year’s game. Significant efforts have been made in the presentation department as well, with four times as many lines of commentary recorded than “WWE 2K14.”
“WWE 2K15” is set for a October 28 release in North America and will ship on October 31 internationally.
