The idea of the very first dance together as a married couple can cause lots of apprehension for those of us who feel self conscious. It may be both, or just one of you, but it can be a scary thing to be on the dance floor, all eyes on you. Some couples take ballroom dancing lessons as a way to cut down fears, which is great, but it may be the only opportunity to ever dance that waltz.

Here is a clever way to involve your guests and cut down on the dance floor jitters. Improvise a snake dance for the first dance, with the two of you going around picking up one guest after another to follow behind with linked arms. Wind around the dance floor, inviting others to join in, for a festive, happy, dance with all of your loved ones. Have fun!
