What would Grammy night be without two of music’s biggest performers? According to Billboard.com on Jan. 20, both Beyonce and her husband Jay Z have been confirmed as performers at the 56th Grammy Awards.

Beyonce was already rumored to be making a special appearance along with Madonna, but on Monday that rumor was confirmed. The couple, who recently collaborated on Beyonce’s latest single, “Drunk In Love”, are by far one of the more successful married couples in music.

Both Beyonce and Jay Z join a lineup of performers that include Taylor Swift, Lorde, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Katy Perry and hip-hop rising star Kendrick Lamar. It will be the first time Beyonce has performed live since the surprise release of her latest album titled “Beyonce”.

As far as Jay Z, he will not just be performing; he is up for nine Grammy nominations, including Best Rap Album. It is still not now on whether the first couple of hip-hop will be performing a duo or performing separately, but both will definitely be on state at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Jan. 26.
