Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting to see Ben Affleck's next trip to the big screen. His next project is Argo, a film set in the 1970s. Argo is set for release in 2012, and it is not only Ben Affleck in front of the camera, but he is taking another turn behind the camera as well. On Wednesday, Celeb Buzz had the first photos from the set of the film featuring Ben Affleck. Check out the photos here.
Argo features a cast that includes Alan Alda, Bryan Cranston, John Goodman, Kyle Chandler, Clea Duvall, and Tate Donovan. The film will tell the story behind the real life events behind a covert operation to free six hostages during the 1979 Iran hostage crisis. Affleck will play a CIA ‘exfiltration’ specialist named Tony Mendez, and he is the man that comes up with the plan to get those six escapees safely out of the country.
Ben Affleck just started production on this film earlier this month. He has been busy on the personal side of things with his wife Jennifer Garner recently revealing that she is pregnant with their next child. The couple has two daughters.
