First Annual Vinofest to Debut on June 28th

Want to drink wine to benefit two great local charities? If so, Vinofest is the event for you!

Organized by Vinolovers, this fabulous event will take place on June 28th, at Union Market from 2-10pm. There will be wine tasting, musical acts from famous musicians such as Eric Hilton from Thievery Corporation, art exhibits, food truck vendors, and more. CEO of VinoLovers & Co-founder of VinoFest, Justin Harrison says, “DC is a melting pot of philanthropy, entrepreneurs, tech, art, music, and food; VinoFestDC is the first city festival to bring together aspects from all of these different markets into one explosive event. This will be an experience.”

Part of the proceeds of Vinofest will go to two amazing organizations, Dream for Kids and Bike to the Beach. Dreams for Kids is a charity that focuses on organizing life-changing activities that empower children with physical and developmental disabilities to unite with their peers and realize their full potential. Bike to the Beach is a non-profit that seeks to promote cycling for fitness and also raise awareness about autism by organizing charity bike rides.

Early bird tickets which include an opportunity to enjoy free wine tasting from 2-6pm, are $55, and these tickets are selling out fast.
