Today Dec. 12, 2013 Realta Entertainment Group revealed the first 10 tracks appearing in the first wave of DLC for their recent music video game "BandFuse: Rock Legends." The new DLC package includes two songs by Jimi Hendrix, accompanied by several exhilarating songs by Pantera, The Offspring, Incubus, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Boston, Yes, Blues Traveler, and Filter. The "BandFuse: Rock Legends" music store will be launched alongside the DLC on Jan. 28, 2014 for both the PlayStation 3 system and the Xbox 360.

The two Jimi Hendrix’s tracks featured in this first wave of DLC, “Fire” and “Love or Confusion,” are both from the album "Are You Experienced (1967)" and are just two of 15 signature Jimi Hendrix songs scheduled to be released over the next year. Hendrix will also be appearing as one of the game's rock legends "later in 2014."

Check out the full list of "BandFuse: Rock Legend" scheduled for Jan. 28, 2014:

  • Jimi Hendrix - “Fire”
  • Jimi Hendrix - “Love or Confusion”
  • Blues Traveler - “Run-Around”
  • Boston - “Foreplay/Long Time”
  • Filter - “Hey Man, Nice Shot”
  • Incubus - “Pardon Me”
  • Lynyrd Skynyrd - “Simple Man”
  • The Offspring - “All I Want”
  • Pantera - “Cowboys From Hell”
  • Yes - “Roundabout”

As of this time no pricing details have been released. While it's pretty much a given that songs will be available individually there's been no word about if there will be discounts for those wishing to purchase the first pack or if there's a "season pass" to all of the DLC throughout the year.

We're looking forward to playing "Pardon Me" by Incubus the most. How about you?
