FIRM racing announces a twelve-week triathlon swim clinic

FIRM racing, the largest multisport production company in New England has announced a 12-week swim clinic to help triathletes get over their fear of the first leg of a triathlon. The Vescio MPS Twelve Week Swim Prescription Program will hold a winter and spring session of the workshop series, which includes underwater and above water stroke videos, swim stroke analysis, 12 weeks of personalized online swim coaching, an online training log, a swim DVD, and two group workshops.
The clinic is for triathletes of all abilities, and offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced programs. The winter session will last from Saturday, February 6 until Saturday, May 1. Winter workshops will take place at the Worcester Polytecnic Institute on the afternoons of February 6 and March 13. The spring session will take place from Saturday, April 3 until Saturday, June 26. The spring session workshops will be held on April 3 and May 15 at the Atkinson pool in Sudbury, MA.
Class sizes will be limited to fifteen participants, with four coaches assisting the swimmers. Head coach Mike Ross, swim coach Bethany Bergemann, swim coach Tracey Potter, and USAT Level 1 coach Elaine Vescio will all assist individual swimmers to teach them the skills they will need to improve their swim stroke for the 2010 triathlon season. Enrollment in the program is $375.
