Firefly 2014 Lineup Revealed: Foo Fighters, Outkast, Jack Johnson To Headline

The East Coast-West Coast music rivalry has been revived - this time in the form of a battle of music festivals. Less than a week after Coachella released its lineup, Firefly Music Festival, the self-proclaimed "premier East Coast music festival" has answered back with a lineup over 100 artists. The headliners this year are Foo Fighters, Jack Johnson and OutKast, whom will also be playing at Coachella. Along with them is an impressive supporting cast of indie, alternative, house, hip-hop and folk artists. (see below for the full list of performers at Firefly Music Festival 2014)

In only its third year, the Delaware music festival has aggressively expanded and anticipates a crowd of 80,000 festival-goers over the course of four days. Last year was a litmus test for Firefly to see whether it could compete with already-established giants like Bonnaroo and Coachella and it appears to have passed with flying colors. Quintessential to Firefly's continued success has been its heavy focus on enhancing the overall festival experience through unorthodox attractions like a silent disco, tail-gating parties and video arcade; not to mention a broader range of food and beverage options than typically offered at music festival. Festival-organizers Red Frog Events have confirmed that many of last year's popular attractions will return this year along with some new ones to be revealed closer to the festival date (June 21-22nd).

General admission passes for Firefly will go on sale this Friday, January 20 at Noon EST while VIP and Super VIP passes are already available at www.fireflyfestival.com.
