As our chapped lips heal from the cold weather outside the Lipstick Queen has reintroduced her Fired Up gloss. The color is a sheer red and a great alternative to matte red lipstick. It adds a level of shine and color to your lips that will be noticeable for miles. I always have a problem wearing lip gloss because it does more damage than good, but this might be one of the first lip glosses that I can see myself using for a long time. Lipstick Queen always makes great products because the founder, Poppy, knows how to make products women will love and be able to actually use over and over. In one of her video blogs she mentions that the infamous red lipstick or in this case, gloss, shouldn't just be worn out to a fancy dinner. Red lips never truly go out of style, if you wear minimal amount of makeup everywhere else on your face then the perfect red lip can be achieved with very little effort and still look radiant. Red lips are perfect for any occasion whether you are going out to a fancy event or if you are just going out for drinks with some friends or just going shopping at the mall. Another myth Poppy mentions is that a lot of people don't think that red lips will work for their skin color, but it really does. The color is so versatile for every shade of skin. I, for the longest time, didn't touch red lipstick or lip gloss because I was certain that it wouldn't look natural on me, I have never regretted the day I applied some on my lips and figured out that in fact red lips do work on everybody. There should be no limit to where you can wear it or who can wear it. This is what is so perfect about the Fired Up gloss, the concept of the gloss is so youthful but the addition of the vibrant red makes it so sophisticated.
