One of the most beautiful and popular resorts in the Southwest is offering guests a chance to literally skate into the New Year. It’s all part of the fun during the Fire & Ice promotion taking place now through January 2 at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona. The resort’s Fire & Ice Skating Pavilion is open to the public every day (unless booked for a private party) and children over 4-years-old and at least 42-inches tall are welcome. Sessions on the “ice” (actually a synthetic surface) are 20-minutes-long and each $20 paid admission comes with a S’mores-making kit. Ticket 4-packs are available for $60.
For those who want to stay awhile and enjoy all the Westin La Paloma has to offer, the resort has a special Fire & Ice package available for $179 that includes a room for the night, two tickets to the skating rink plus an option to buy additional tickets at a discount and free Kid’s Menu food for children under 12-years-old (maximum two, with adult meal purchase.) The resort fee is also waived during the Fire & Ice promotion.
The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa is located in north Tucson in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains and has lots of features to enjoy any time of year: An Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, a 27-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus, numerous pools and a giant waterslide and fine dining at the Azul Restaurant.
