The fire explorer program is a program associated with the Boy Scouts of America. The fire explorer program helps young men and women to develop skills that will stay with them all of their lives.
This Program is a program is backed by the Mobile Fire Department. The Program accepts young men and women between 14-19 years old. The program is available only on a voluntary basis. The city of Mobile provides this service for young men and women to help enhance their learning experience.
The young men and women get to work with firefighters and emergency responders and do help out in working at the station and helping out in non life treating activities at a fire.
Fire Explorers will be trained by Mobile Fire Department to help them in being a firefighter. Explorers are always supervised in areas such as Safety at the station or on a scene.
