The New York City Fire Department is seeking to hire an investigator. This is an experienced, non-managerial position. The starting annual salary is $34,977.00 to $55,848.00. Some of the duties that you will be responsible for are; investigating applicants, doing background checks and searches on individuals, researching personal and private information, and investigating corruption and/or criminal behavior. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution and three years satisfactory full time work experience in investigations.
