When it comes to summertime, there is nothing quite like pairing up a great bottle of white wine with some grilled seafood. We prefer ours in the form of FIORFIORE 2012 Todi Grechetto DOC Superiore, which comes to us straight from Italy.

The deliciously light pale yellow white wine comes from grapes that are carefully selected before being gently pressed. Once chosen, they are left to ferment naturally in stainless steel vats with controlled temperatures for a few weeks maturation. The harvest of this wine is hand picked in mid-September each year/

The result? A deliciously light fruity scent of pineapples and golden apples with a nice complex taste of spice. We highly recommend this wine while enjoying simple seafood and chicken dishes to bring out its true flavor.

With its Fiorfiore Todi Grechetto Doc Superiore, Roccafiore is conquering the American consumers: in the first months of 2014 the winery has increased the sales of the past year, with a growth of 10% in the United States.

With its pale yellow color, this wine has scents of pineapple, yellow apple, small yellow flowers and delicate notes of sweet spices. It is characterized by a warm and soft flavor, with a good freshness and minerality: it is a very elegant and complex wine which is perfect with salumi, paccheri di Gragnano with cheek lard and may other typical dishes.
