Finish Chelsea's Run this Saturday, March 1

See also

This Saturday, March 1, marks the 4th running of Finish Chelsea's Run 5K in Balboa Park. The run honors the life of Chelsea King, an avid runner who was killed while on a training run in Rancho Bernardo in February 2010. It started as a run among community members to "finish" the run Chelsea began. Over the years it has grown to over 5,000 people, all representing the light and love of Chelsea.

Finish Chelsea's Run is the primary fundraiser for the Chelsea's Light Foundation Sunflower Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to students headed to San Diego Community College. It promises to be the best event yet as this year the race is joining forces with Girl Scouts San Diego. Don't miss out on this great community race through beautiful Balboa Park.

For more information about the race and Chelsea's Light Foundation, please visit their website. To register, please see the race registration page.
