After the holiday rush to finish all your knit and crochet gifts, January is a welcomed month to relax, minus time constraints and the demands of individual tastes. One Ravelry knitalong is appropriately calling itself the "selfish" knitting month KAL. Among the pattern choices knitters had are fingerless mitts, wrist warmers or "texting gloves," though not really mittens or gloves per se, but very handy for today's technology-driven world.
