The Doyle New York auction house on the Upper East Side has announced a sale of Fine Jewelry & Contents of Abandoned Safe Deposit Boxes that will offer dazzling sets of jewelry such as diamonds, colored stones and pearls, as well as gold jewelry, fine watches, and gentlemen's accessories, many of which are signed.
Notable highlights of the sale include a Gold, Diamond, and Enamel Lion Brooch that is estimated at $2,000 to $3,000, while similarly, the Gold, Demantoid Garnet and Diamond Lizard Pin is expected to sell between $1,500 to $2,000.
Other valuable items offered are a Gold, Blue Enamel and Diamond Wristwatchthat is estimated at $1,200 to $1,800, and a Gold, Diamond, and Sapphire Flower Brooch that are both expected to sell between $1,200 to $1,800.
Also, a pair of Gold, Citrine, and Emerald Brooches and a Gold, Pearl, Diamond, and Emerald Frog Pin are both estimated at between $700 to $900. The auction will be held February 21st at 10 a.m. at Doyle New York (175 E. 87th St.) (212) 427-2730.
