A follow-up to the successful “Play with Words” creative writing workshop with Esther Bradley-DeTally is on tap at the Altadena Library on Feb. 4. Seasoned and aspiring writers are encouraged to attend.
The library promises that “Finding Your Voice” will “increase the breadth and depth of what you know about yourself and show how to give written form to the line drawings in your heart.”
Bradley-DeTally teaches writing classes in Pasadena at the 10,000 Villages store and The Women’s Room, which is a safe haven for homeless women offered by the Ecumenical Council Pasadena Area Congregations. Good Reads gave her the title “Author on the Rise” for her book You Carry the Heavy Stuff.
The workshop is sponsored by the Friends of the Altadena Library.
