In developing ideas for an article this month to help small and medium business, I was thinking about the fundamental of focusing your business sales efforts behind a unique business advantage. I had started writing an article to complete later, when I read a brief and excellent article from Jay Levinson and his wife (Guerilla Marketing) on this same subject. Simply, it hits all the points I want to make with you, and does it simply and on point. The article focused in on a section of their Guerilla Marketing books that details how to find your unique business advantage. You may also know this by another name or term, Customer Value Proposition, but whichever term you care to use the focus is the same. Discovering and using your and/or your business unique advantage(s) is the difference between you just making a living, versus being wildly successful. So which do you want to do? Think about it for a moment and how simple and obvious it is? If you knew exactly why people bought from your versus any of your competition, if you had possession of that fantastic secret, wouldn’t that be a powerful thing to have? Likely it would be the most powerrful thing you could have in business, wouldn't you agree? Wouldn’t you immediately make use of it and focus on that specific advantage in every sales and marketing effort of you and your company every minute of every day? Of course you would! Well why the hell aren’t you doing that now then (if you are, congratulations, now go on to another of my articles)? Do you not want to succeed, is that it? Of course not, so take a moment and click the following link for this brief article from the Levinson’s that hits this cord perfectly, then apply what you learn right now and continuously in your business, and then enjoy your success!
