A lot of us are having problems finding the right one. We may have felt we were close, met someone who we felt some kind of connection with, but even so, it ended up nowhere and just left us feeling unfulfilled. Here, we take a look at how to get closer to finding the one by choosing the right ones!
Choosing the right person is about knowing which qualities in a person really matter to you and being able to recognize those qualities in a person. It can’t be just dating whomever and for whatever reason that appeals to you in the moment!
Here are some tips to help you choose the right ones:
- Know what you want. Being able to make the best choices will always start with knowing what you need and want. Otherwise, you would be leaving it to chance to find the right one, have to date a lot of wrong ones, or get to a point where you settle.
- Look beyond the superficial. Regardless of what attracts you on the outside—maybe someone is gorgeous, successful or you two coincidentally have a few things in common, step back and recognize if underneath it all, this person is really ideal for you and if you two would be a good match.
- Choose a “good person”. Unless you are looking for drama and someone who lacks basic trustworthiness and morals, the right ones generally have integrity in their character. Does this person say what he/she means and does his/her actions justify what he/she says? Ideally, you want to date someone who is balanced, developed, aware, kind, honest and happy!
- Look for true chemistry. This is not simply just getting along well with someone or having something to chat about. It’s when you find someone who you know is complimentary to your identity. You two fundamentally have the same beliefs, communicate well and can intuitively understand each other significantly better than the majority of people out there. You two should have a similar dynamic and this person should be someone who can give you what you want and need and you can do the same for that person.
In the end, if you keep choosing right, you will get closer to someone who is a good match—someone who you can naturally and enduringly respect and love.
