Finding salvaged building materials in Greenville SC

A green building consumes less energy, water, and natural resources, is healthier and creates less waste.  It is not just about the latest and greatest materials or techniques.  Finding used windows and doors, flooring or anything that can be recycled can save trees and the energy used to produce new building components.  According to the 2030 Challenge for Building Product Manufacturers organization, 5 to 8 percent of total energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S. result from the manufacture and transport of building products and building construction.
