Finding a workout you'll enjoy

There are various workout programs on the market, to help you get in shape. Choosing the proper one might be a challenge. It is a well known fact that a fun workout will keep your level of motivation at its highest and therefore, increase your chances of success.

If you have 20 pounds or more to lose, you may already feel self conscious about your looks. A good way to find out whether a workout is right for you, is to try one. Many fitness centers will give you a free trial. You can make a few calls in your area. Simply pick up the Yellow Pages and ask to visit the place.

A trial class will help you decide if you are ready to commit to a short term contract, or a long one. You'll also know if you feel comfortable with their approach. If everyone looks like a supermodel, dressed up in designer clothes, you may not feel at ease!

Sani Sport, a well established fitness center, has two divisions in the Montreal area. Their latest promotion offers a $15 a week subscription, for a minimum of 10 weeks. It is relatively short, not too expensive, and long enough to know if it meets your needs. http://www.sani.ca/home.html

If you would like to experience dance classes, some schools offer free trial sessions. It can be fun and boost your confidence, to join a salsa class, hip hop or any other kind. Dancing is an excellent fat burning exercise, it works the abdominal area, and helps get lean and long muscles. Here's the link to a Tango studio in Montreal, that offers a free session.  http://www.studiotango.ca/page13.html

Remember to enjoy your workouts!

I agree. It is so important to find a workout you actually like, otherwise you'll never do it!
