This is the spooky season and San Antonio has several scary places to get your scream test.
So if you are brave enough to venture out, here are a few wicked ways to wander.
1. Sea World of San Antonio has their theme park ready with Howl-O-Scream. After 7pm it gets too intense for children under the age of 13. So let the big kids and adults try the sinister maze and vampire bar. The cost of this event is included in the admission ticket for the park but check the link above for more details. Before 6pm, keep it family friendly for just the fun and shows.
2. The 13th Floor Haunted House is available for those brave souls from Sept 13th till Oct 31st. The location is 1203 E. Commerce St. and is described as a graphic theatrical show. Be prepared to take the elevator to the 13th floor for a hair-raising experience. Even the website is scary and check the link above for details on times and tickets. In case you get lost, it is across the street from Sunset Station.
3. Six Flags Fiesta Texas has Fright Fest and all the park rides that are open till Oct. 27th. The activities after 5pm are called "Fright by Night" including some scary haunted houses plus Midnight Mansion and Zombie Zone. Midnight Mansion has 13 rooms of evil with a ghostly decor. Tickets and season passes can be purchased online.
4. Terror on the Plaza has CarnEvil Haunted Houses and is open till Nov. 2nd. The location is 329 Alamo Plaza and claims to be the most intense haunted house in the area. The four-story building is filled with creepy experiences.
