The 2013 Progressive Insurance Northwest Sportshow runs March 21-24 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. This year's sportshow is touting a wide variety of travel exhibitors from as far away as South Africa and New Zealand. The sportshow historically has been an excellent place to search for travel experts, resorts, lodges and outfitters. Several Alaskan outfitters will also be represented, including Above Alaska Aviation, a group that provides outdoor adventures and pilot training.
The sportshow also provides an education element for anyone whether you're looking for a great family camping trip or the trip of a lifetime to an exotic location.
• With the Trip Finder tool, visitors can get a head start on trip research and search sportshow exhibitors by trip type and desired location.
• Gain insights from experts and learn about trips to the Midwest, Montana, Alaska, Canada and many other great destinations during the sportshow’s new Travel Seminar Series.
• For those interested in traveling abroad, representatives from the U.S. Department of State/Minneapolis Passport Agency, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Canada Border Services and related agencies will be at booths in Lobby E to answer questions and provide travel tips for vacationers outside of the United States.
The 2011 Progressive Northwest Sportshow opens Thursday, March 21 and finishes up on Sunday March 24. For exact location, ticket information and times visit NorthwestSportshow.com
