Find your bliss

During the blustery days of winter (if you live up North), venturing out to a dance class can be a major hassle. A new instructing trend has made learning dance possible in the comfort of your home. Unlike instructional DVD’s, online courses offer personalized instruction and all you need is a computer with a camera.

Legendary founder of Tribal belly dance, Paulette Rees Denis along with instructor Lynea Gillen are offering a unique online multi-disciplined dance course. The class is “Tribal Bliss – Dance and Vision.”

“This is a course for you if you want to dance, move your body with freedom, write, sparkle, stretch, shake it out, breathe and find your bliss … We want you to have some time for yourself, to experiment with your dance and to feel blissful in your body.”

Paulette and Lynea will call upon their backgrounds in Tribal belly dance, African dance, writing, yoga, healing, therapy, trance and meditation. They have instructed in these areas for over 25 years and are looking forward to sharing them with you.

“We have seen the need for this type of combined movement and writing classes as we have ventured on the path, the desire to get out of our head and into our bodies more, to write and move and release tension, aches, thoughts, emotions, whatever you need to let go of, then invite in desires and dreams, and to purely enjoy your body and the way you feel like moving.”

This collaboration has garnered much praise, as testimonials can be read on Paulette’s website,

A combination of their creative and playful teaching styles open students hearts and hips. There are traditional yoga poses, dancing warm-ups and dance to infectious music.
The course runs for four weeks and includes a downloadable set of worksheets in PDF formats, weekly writing exercises and body prompts, short video clips of dance and yoga warm-ups, podcasts of meditations and visualizations and direction from the instructors.

All you have to bring is a computer, a timer or alarm clock, colored pens/pencils/crayons and a quiet space to stretch, move, meditate and time to practice.

The themes of each week are Bliss, Empower, Sooth and Wish.

The cost is only $49.00
