Is it just us or do TV shows just keep getting better? Like a fine wine or slow roasted pork shoulder, time has been good to TV. From a slew of juicy political dramas like ABC-TV’s “Scandal” and Netflix-produced “House of Cards” to a surge in addictive fantasy series like AMC-TV’s “The Walking Dead” and HBO-TV’s “Game of Thrones,” it’s hard to keep up with all of today’s appetizing options.

Getting hungry yet? Good. Then dig into Xfinity Watchathon Week (Mar. 31- Apr. 6), which offers an all-you-can watch access pass for Xfinity TV customers to watch shows On Demand like FOV-TV’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” Showtime-TV’s “Californication,” PBS-TV’s “Downton Abbey,” CBS-TV’s “The Good Wife” and NBC-TV’s “Parks & Recreation.”

All week, Xfinity TV customers have access to a menu of more than 5,000 episodes from premium, cable and broadcast networks. Before disappearing into the endless selection of crave-worthy marathons, check out these survey results from binge-watcher habits, from a recent survey by Harris Poll on behalf of Comcast:

  • 82% of respondents watch two or more TV episodes in one sitting. (“Betcha can’t have just one!”)
  • 74% would rather over-serve themselves on TV than their favorite foods (Sounds better for the waist line!)
  • Dallas, Texas has one of the largest populations of binge-watchers in the U.S. (Mmmmm…BBQ)

Xfinity Watchathon Week is the perfect way to satisfy binge cravings. Bon appetit!
