On Tuesday (4.26) Emma Stone told E! that she was heading to New York this week to shoot the final scenes for The Amazing Spider-Man:
"We leave tomorrow for New York," Emma said.
"We're doing exteriors in New York for a couple of weeks, so it'll be done in mid-May,' she continued before laughing, "So, yeah, it was only a six-month shoot."
According to the company which is casting extras for the film, the movie doesn't actually start filming in NYC until Saturday (4.30).
Spider-Man, which is working under the title Fiona's Tale, will be filming on Saturday and Sunday around 56th-58th St and 8th Ave in New York City. The No Parking/Permit signs posted along the streets for this weekend's shoot list the approximate times of filming as 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
In addition to the midtown location, they have also started rehearsing for a big stunt scene which will take place on Monday (5.2) through Wednesday (5.4) in Harlem, around 133rd St and 12th. The shoot at this location may go through the end of the week, depending on the complexity of the scene.
