Find environmental fun in Corpus Christi at Earth Day Bay Day 2010

Finding ways to have family fun in a natural environment in Corpus Christi is not that hard to do. After all, with a multitude of beaches, waterfront properties, nature reserves, and parks in area, it's pretty easy to take a family hike, spend a day at the beach, or watch the beautiful migrating birds that come through this area and turn it into a family outing. What's great is that families can usually incorporate learning about the nature around us while still enjoying their day out. Yet, even so, if you're a member of this community and you head out to a local nature venue, you very well know that trash on the ground, in the water, or on the playgrounds is not where it belongs and so that's where an event like the Earth Day Bay Day 2010 celebration comes in.

In it's 11th year in Corpus Christi, the Earth Day Bay Day celebration is a call to action for community involvement in this area. It's a way for families to not only have a great time, but to also learn about the importance of environmental and conservation issues that affect our region and the wildlife that inhabit our area. This year's event features over 60 exhibitors and sponsors. In addition, families can expect to see a multitude of things that should peak the interest of all members of your family regardless of age.  One of the highlights for this years event is the featured Texas Parks and Wildlife Coastal Expo where families can interact and touch sea creatures.
