The Petco Foundation has been a voice for companion animals across the country since 1999. Each year, the Foundation helps animal-welfare organizations find lifelong, loving homes for over 200,000 orphaned and homeless pets, as well as funding spay and neuter efforts, animal-assisted therapy programs and humane education.
The Petco Foundation's mission is to raise the quality of life for pets and people who love and need them. The Foundation assists local rescue groups to facilitate in-store adoption events at Petco locations all over the country every weekend. This program gives shelters and other animal-welfare organizations easy access to families looking to adopt great companion animals.
