January, 25, 2012 - The photo stills from The Vampire Diaries episode Bringing Out the Dead have finally come out!
In this anticipated episode, which will air next week (and not this Thursday, unfortunately), our beloved Original, Elijah (Daniel Gillies), is back and it looks like he'll be stirring things up a bit between the Salvatore brothers and his own sibling, Klaus (Joseph Morgan).

The photo stills show Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elijah, in some sort of negotiation plan, although it is not sure how it will go, as one image shows Elijah strangling Damon. Then other stills feature Klaus and Stefan (Paul Wesley) in another meeting, which doesn't look too promising either.
A couple of the images hint at the "strange" dinner party that Klaus will be hosting, as revealed in the episode official synopsis.

Meanwhile, whatever Caroline (Candice Accola) is dealing with, it probably involves her father, as a the two photo stills featuring her reveal. The synopsis says that Caroline will find herself heartbroken when unable to stop a tragedy from happening... Let's hope Tyler (Michael Trevino) will make it out ok from his "un-siring" ordeal.
And lastly, can we just say that we're loving Elijah's new shorter and Stefan-esque hairdo? Let's hope he manages to stay un-daggered for a while this time around!
