The World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition release is coming soon and Wargaming announced Friday that it is hosting one final open beta this weekend for the free-to-play multiplayer title with rewards for those that participate.

The open beta for World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition is live now for Dec. 13 and will run through Sunday, Dec. 15 and will be available to all gamers with Xbox Live accounts. Those without an account will be able to get in on the action for a 7-day trial period. As an added bonus to non-Gold account holders who may have already expended their 7-day trial period, the trial will reset, giving gamers an additional seven days of playing time.

Players who log in and play at least 10 matches on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. EST / 3 p.m. to 6 p. m. PST will receive 7 days of free Premium Account status (which provides a higher accrual rate of credits and experience earned during play) once the game officially goes live.

The United Kingdom tank line is also being added for this weekend's beta test with classic tanks such as the Churchill, the Black Prince and the Matilda.
