Dutch Wonderland’s 50th Anniversary year ends on Monday, December 30, 2013. Their Dutch Winter Wonderland will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. that day. Dutch Winter Wonderland is only $12 (plus tax) for Royal Admission for those 3 years and older. In addition to the great low price, all parking is free! Of course Duke’s Lagoon will be closed.

Dutch Winter Wonderland offers guests the use of over a dozen rides, special shows, and the Royal Light Show. The latter is over a thousand twinkling lights set to music which is sure to dazzle little ones. Parents don’t forget your cameras – not just for the shots of your kids having fun on the rides and at the shows but also to capture photos of the live reindeer.

Opened on May 20, 1963, Dutch Wonderland has been celebrating its 50th anniversary this past year. A long time favorite of locals, it also draws families from out of state as well. Dutch Wonderland has been named one of the Top 5 Kids Amusement Parks in the World by Amusement Today magazine.

Upon arrival have your children measure themselves at the big sign inside the front gate. Many rides have height restrictions and will be labeled accordingly so it’s best to know in which category your child is. Dutch Wonderland has rides for kids that enjoy thrills as well as wee ones who are experiencing their first visit to an amusement park.

The new season passes for 2014 will not be available for purchase until January 2nd. Season pass holders not only enjoy unlimited admission throughout the summer but during the autumn Happy Hauntings event as well as Dutch Winter Wonderland. In addition season pass holders receive free preferred parking (during the summer months), 15% off food and merchandise purchases, discounts when bringing a friend, and discounts to sister parks. Dutch Wonderland is located at 2249 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602. For additional information call 1-866-FUNatDW.
