"Every moment he's lived has led to this."
Warner Bros. has released the final full-length trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, and Harry Potter fans are both anticipating and dreading the moment when the final credits will roll when the film is released in theaters next month.
If you are a strictly movie-only fan (have not read the books) or a spoilerphobe (person who does not want to know released details until the actual viewing of the film), then chances are you will not want to watch the trailer, as it showcases several important scenes from the seventh installment of author J.K. Rowling's best-selling series about a boy wizard who holds the fate of the Wizarding World in his grasp. However, fans of the books will shout with glee over some of the scenes depicted in the 2 1/2 minute long trailer, including a few faces that return for an encore performance.
Reaction to the trailer in the Harry Potter fandom has been rife with exclamations of joy, and also sadness, as the release of Deathly Hallows Part 2 signals the final curtain call for the franchise, which has made more than six billion dollars worldwide in box-office receipts over the past ten years, when Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was released in 2001.
