So movies about chicks kicking butt have always held a close place to my heart. So when I read the synopsis to Final Girl i was immediately hooked. There have been tons of women scorned for revenge movies but nothing like this. Read the synopsis.
“Loner Veronica is new to school, shy and vulnerable, the perfect target for a group of teenage boys who lure girls into the woods to hunt and kill them for sport. It’s only after they get her alone that she turns the tables on them, escaping and revealing she’s armed and knows how to defend herself. Little do they know, Veronica is an assassin-in-training, and she’s chosen killing these boys as her final test. When the dust clears, Veronica will find out if she can be the final girl these boys ever have a chance to hurt.”
Sounds like a few of the comics I have been reading lately but with more punch. I can’t wait to hear the release details because this will be one to watch for for sure. On a side note the film stars Abigail Breslin who is all grown up now from her role in Little Miss Sunshine. I applaud in child actor who jumps into horror when they get older. Believe me it has worked for many.
