Final Friday to be held in Lawrence this week

The Final Friday Art Party will be held on New Hampshire Street in Lawrence, Kan. on Friday January 31. The event includes local artists, craftman, galleries, music and food.

All Souls Gallery features Jerry Stogsdill’s “Photography, From Get Real to Not So Much!” at the gallery located in the All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 4501 Walnut. The exhibit closes on Feb. 14.

The Blue Gallery will feature three exhibits, “Kollabs” by Luis Garcia-Nerey and Anke Schofield, “Wonder Wall” and “Fight or Flight” by Amani Skalacki”. The gallery is located at 118 Southwest Blvd. The exhibits close on Feb. 1.

“Extemporary Contemplations” will be the featured exhibit at the Buttonwood Art Space located at 3013 Main. The exhibit will run through Jan. 31.

HAW Contemporary will feature two exhibits: “The Head on the Door” by Corey Antis and “Del Harrow” by Del Harrow. The exhibits may be viewed at the gallery located at 1600 Liberty. Both exhibits open on Jan. 10 and close on Feb. 22.

Images Art Gallery features the Wearable Art Show at the gallery located at 7320 W. 80th in Overland Park, Kan. The exhibit runs through Feb. 15.

“Captured Moments” by Arthur Stellar and Kate Peterson-Sloop will be presented at the Irene B. French Community Center at 5701 Merriam Dr. in Merriam, Kan. The exhibit will run through Feb. 15.

Kansas City Public Library features “Stargazing” by John C. Tibbetts. The exhibit will be at the Central Library located at 14 W. 10 and closes on Jan. 31.

“The Neighborhood” by Stephanie Bloss will be featured at the Kiosk Gallery. There will be an opening reception on Friday January 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. The gallery is located at 3951 Broadway and the exhibit will close on February 14.

“The Creative Observer” by William S. Burroughs is featured at the Lawrence Arts Center at 940 New Hampshire in Lawrence. The center will hold an opening reception on Friday Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. The exhibit closes on March 2.

Thornhill Gallery presents “Stages of Conversion” by Gene Emerson Friedman at the gallery located at 11901 Wornall inside Avila University. The exhibit closes on Feb. 14.
