Kazushige Nojima has made an interesting comment in regards to releasing another potential sequel to “Final Fantasy X.” According to a report from Softpedia on Dec. 28, the scenario writer (who is currently working on the upcoming “Final Fantasy XV” video game) stated that Square Enix may develop a second sequel if there is enough demand. He went on to add that he would personally like to see “Final Fantasy X-3.” You can find his statement below (courtesy of Siliconera and Softpedia):

If there’s enough demand, then we may possibly see new developments. I would personally like to see a sequel like X-3.

The upcoming “Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster” product features the remastered ports of the first two games in addition to an audio drama, which was written by Kazushige Nojima, hinting at a potential sequel. The compilation is set to arrive on both the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita platforms on March 18.

The scenario writer is currently busy with the aforementioned “Final Fantasy XV.” The PS4 and Xbox One video game currently does not have a release date, suggesting that the development is still far from completion. “Final Fantasy X-3,” if it does go into production at some point, most likely won’t be released within the next couple of years.
