The first screens have been revealed in regards to the Magitek armor for the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.” According to a report by Siliconera on March 15, the latest images provide a first look at the giant robots in the PC and Playstation 3 title. You can check out the first Magitek armor screens, as well as several older shots from the massively multiplayer online role-playing game, in the slideshow at the top of this article.
The Magitek armor originally appeared in “Final Fantasy VI,” which was released for the Super Nintendo on Oct. 11, 1994 in North America.
Square Enix Product Development Division 3 is developing “Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.” The reboot of “Final Fantasy XIV” is currently being beta tested by select players. Square Enix will be publishing the final version when the massively multiplayer online role-playing game launches for the PC and Playstation 3 platforms later this year.
